Survey coordinators say it's the first comprehensive survey in more two decades. It's also the first to gather information about the experiences of transgender Alaskans. The survey is an effort Identity, Inc., Alaskan AIDS Assistance Association, Alaskans Together for Equality, Equality Works, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Alaska.
